PLEASE JOIN US IN SUPPORTING SYLVANA JOYCE & THE MOMENT

Sylvana Joyce & The Moment, the super talented band from NYC who’s played numerous No Pulp events and rocked them every time, needs everyone’s support to win a great contest!

Out of thousands of entries, Sylvana Joyce & The Moment is in 14th place (9 bands will place) for a huge Battle of the Bands taking place at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. They really want the chance to play a show there, and we’re trying to help get the word out to as many people who live in NYC as possible (the people who “vote” must have a Facebook account and must live within 100 miles of NYC).

If you follow this link, it will take you to the band competition page where you’ll see the band name and song at the top and a “Download” button next to it. The free download of thei new single (“The Break”) is AMAZING and will count as a vote toward the competition.

It takes 2 seconds, you get a great mp3, and it will really mean a lot to Sylvana Joyce & The Moment.  They really do deserve the opportunity and we hope they make it to the top 9!

If you know anyone who would dig a free download, send them to this link, and pass it along!

The Moon Furies release new single: “Survival”

We’re so psyched to share a new single just released by The Moon Furies, the hot band that played an amazing set at No Pulp this past Wed!  “Survival” will be featured on their upcoming EP, Not Earth

Check it out below and let us know what you think!  Stay tuned for more information on their EP release and future live shows by following them on Twitter @TheMoonFuries.

"A HUGE thanks to everyone who made our show last night a roaring success. We couldn’t have asked for a better 2012 kickoff event. To all the bands that performed, you rocked our socks off. To everyone who came out to support, we had an amazing time hanging out with all of you. To the Arlene’s Grocery staff, you are always the best, end of story. We really couldn’t put on these shows without each and every one of you. THANK YOU very much for your love and support!"

We would like to welcome Moon Furies to the stage TONIGHT for our first No Pulp Music Night of 2012!

Are you ready for some electronic pop-rock?

Moon Furies is going to make you move tonight at Arlene’s Grocery, as part of our monthly No Pulp Music Night extravaganza! The show kicks off at 8PM, and Moon Furies will hit the stage at 10PM

The band has definitely taken the country by storm, performing with acts such as Peter Bjorn and John and Dot Dot Dot. Not to mention, they recently took part in 100 Shows in 100 Days where all proceeds went directly to cancer research.

Moon Furies is led by Andy Kiel and Jim Wittmann—best friends since they were 4—and the live performance they deliver has been described by Windy City Rock as “Muppets on crack.” Needless to say, this group brings the fun!

What you can expect is head bobbing beats, some in your face synth, and some sway-worthy “echo-y” vocals. Standing silently in the back of the room will not cut it for this one, so come ready to dance and party!

    Visit their website now!

    Follow them on Twitter @moonfuries.
